Put your photography and digital image capture skills to work by supporting photography and video production on set and ensuring a smooth capture process. As the Digital Technician , you will manage camera and computer systems, troubleshoot any issues on set, and coordinate with internal IT to maintain computer performance. You will manage all files and folder structures on local workstations and in the archive, ensure image and video assets are properly named with the appropriate SKU/ASIN information and variant extension, and regularly perform monitor color calibration. You will also catalog, name, crop, color manage, and spot retouch a high volume of images, working under tight deadlines: Additionally, you will: Enter and set all necessary information in Capture One based on the product being shot, e.g. production identifiers and process recipes Ensure visual consistency of images day-to-day across numerous sets Develop and manage automated scripts for upload, backup, and session configuration Support all aspects of production on set as needed Maintain and improve standard workflows and processes, communicating effectively with team and business partners What You’ll Need to be Successful: Fluency with Capture One, Photoshop and Bridge, FTP clients, and cloud computing interfaces Basic to intermediate experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook Intermediate to advanced understanding of photographic lighting and digital photography production and troubleshooting, preferably with Canon equipment Intermediate to advanced experience with both the PC platforms and networking technologies Understanding of monitor calibration and color management best practices Experience as an assistant photographer and/or a digital technician in a commercial photography studio Strong ability to multi-task Great Additional Skills: 2 or 4-year degree in photography or a related field is preferred Ability to write scripts and/or Excel macros Experience with PowerPoint, Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects, and/or Blender Experience with video production and editing UNIX and/or SQL skills are a plus What’s in it for You?
