The event was held at the teachers’ lounge of the central cafeteria where Dilara Rahman, who is the patron of the stipend, was present as the chief guest. Chairperson of the Department Dr Bashir Ahmed presided over the function while associate professor Nasrin Sultana, assistant professor ASM Firozul Hasan and lecturer Kamrul Hasan Simanto were also present, among others. A total of ten students of honors first-year to master’s was given the cheque for Tk 18,000 which will continue for the next two years on a monthly basis. geebd/?p=2300
