Dili District Police Commander, Pedro Belo has denied rumors mongering that a Catholic nun was stabbed by unknown group of people in front of Timor Plaza. Belo affirmed that, there was a problem in front of Timor Plaza at which a young man was arguing with his girl friend who was with the nun. ”These rumors are untrue, no one has stabbed the nun, but a young man was in verbal arguing with his girl friend that was going with the nun,” he said. He added that the nun came to Comoro Police station, making complaints to the police regarding the verbal arguing..
