Dimgba Igwes death, a colossal loss to Nigeria A member of the House of Representative and frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade have described the death of the Vice-Chairman of Sun Newspapers and associate publisher of Entertainment Express Newspaper, Pastor Dimgba Igwe not just as a loss for the media industry, but a colossal loss for the entity called Nigeria. Akinlade, a third term member of the House of Representative and Chairman, House Committee on Science & Technology described the death as sad, cruel and unfortunate. In a statement released by his Media Office, Akinlade mourns saying, Dimgba is a man I love so much, I appreciate his sense of integrity, his reputation as a journalist with no blemish and I enjoy his style of writing His death is very sad, too unfortunate and cruel, his last column on the back page of Daily Sun dated September 2 2014 was very insightful and factual regarding a state government embarking on all-round development without putting its state in debt like some others. Dimgba, Nigeria will miss you, our growing democracy and 2015 electioneering process will miss you the lawmaker stated. Akinlade also asked God to grant Dimgbas families, friends and associates particularly Mr. Mike Awoyinfa the fortitude to bear the loss.
