Dingo Mulga Needs a Forever Home. Mulga was a pound rescue from WA. He is currently at Crossrodas Dingo Rescue in WA. Mulga is about 1 year old. He has been DNA tested by the University on NSW as 75-85% Dingo. Mulga is an extremely energetic and affectionate young boy and will rehome well with someone with previous Dingo experience or experienced with a dog of high energy. Although he has quite high Dingo DNA heritage and behavioural traits, his partialdoggygenetics make him very eager to please and will may respond well to some obedience training. But DO NOT expect him to behave like a dog... Mulga will need a secure environment with high fences, he is an adept escape artist.(normal 6 backyard fencing will NOT suffice) Although Mulga is very exhuberant and overly affectionate,(I mean REALLY Affectionate, tounge bath affectionate) he is also very gentle and has a beautiful & friendly nature.He just loves human company. He loves his cuddles and kisses. He is quite vocal and loves a chat.. He walks well on lead, but is quite strong and follows his nose. He does NOT appear to be dog agressive at all, he is not fussed with any of the oher Dingoes at CRDR, and may re-home well with another Dingo or good natured dog of similar size & activity level. He is not tested with cats, but it is unlikely that he will cohabit well in a house full of small fluffy animals or overyly excited small children.
