Dinner at the Waterfront in Camden was just tremendous last night. I had the Crab Cakes with a sweet potato/russet combination of mashed potatoes with touch of Brown Sugar and cole slaw with a house salad and a Kaliber NA beer. Stephanie had the Seared Statler Chicken with Sun dried tomatoes and a Cashew Pesto, with a bed of Wild Rice and some honey glazed carrots. First and foremost the food was all amazing. The Crab Cakes were seared, tasty, light, and matched great with the Sweet and Russet potato combination. The potatoes were perfectly mashed sweet with chunks of russet. The cole slaw was fresh and very good. The house salad is very good, just the right size. I would say my only complaint is they need a better Blue Cheese dressing. Theres is a little on the runny side and good Blue Cheese Dressing is not. Stephanie was very happy with the Statler Chicken, said it was cooked perfectly so it was not dry. The cashews and sun dried tomatoes made for a nice taste treat with the chicken.I tried the carrots and they were amazing. Cooked to perfection with a slight sweet taste to them. Atmosphere was outstanding, as we were seated in the main dining area, right next to the window overlooking the harbor, it was not overly busy so it was very enjoyable and we ended up taking almost two hours to have our meal and relax and enjoy. Highly recommend the Waterfront Restaurant. Great service, wonderful food, very pleasant waitress. In fact the waitress told us after the meal that we were a pleasure to wait on. I thought that was nice. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best I would give the Waterfront an 11 last night!!!
