Dinner tonight is White Bean and Kale Soup made with beans I have canned and have on hand, kale from the freezer, and beef broth that I canned from leftover prime rib at Christmas. Oh how I love this new pressure canner. And because you have to have bread with soup, and its been a while since I worked with blue corn meal, we are having Blue Corn Sticks baked in my cast iron corn molds. With real buttermilk this time, not the buttermilk that I made from milk and lemon juice. The real deal this time. Because Mark Bowden is a good husband, and he deserves it. :)
