Dinner tonight is leftover stew and homemade bread. I find it funny that a few acquaintances of mine were absolutely baffled about why we stockpile (freeze, can, dehydrate) so much stuff. A lot of my friends do the same as we do. Since the furlough began, I havent needed to go grocery shopping (Delbear didnt stock up either, while I was on assignment in Idaho.) At week 3 with no end in sight yet; we have enough food to last us about 3 months without rationing... Call me a prepper? Maybe a mini prepper. But at least we wont be looking for second jobs yet or unemployment benefits (that we may have to pay back anyway.)
