Dipen Rai writes - Lepcha community were living in darjeeling district for so many decades as a family,they were never descriminated in any form,always respcted with dignity n esteem,but 2day at kalimpong there were so much hue and cry,shouting,jubiliant like sm festival......is it justiciable to act in sch a way,where gorkha r struggling for there own existence, surviving in a pathetic condition for more than 3 weeks,studies hampering, labours daily bread n butter affecting,lepcha ask ur own conscience is this time to celebrate or mourn,u got ur LDC for the development n saftey of ur community,its good keep it in urself ,dont show it to the world....beside u other community also lives here,in the hour of gud n bad days ur neighbour rai,lama,gurung,chettri,pradhan will be wit u bt nt mukherjee ,banerjeee ,chatterjee frm siliguri.
