Every time when someone talks about Bhagwanji angle in Netaji mystery people try to dissuade it by giving the example of Shaulamari. So when I was studying the difference between Shaulamari and Bhagwanji angle, one thing caught my attention, the statement of Bhagwanji on Shaulamari. I am narrating his statement for you, decision is yours. In one meeting Mukul told Bhagwanji, “that public will become angry if the government being run by your friend does anything wrong. If the people would have been the spark within them then fire would have been spread at the beginning….” Further to this statement, he added, “…can you imagine that some people are playing with a live bomb? Your dead man is nothing but a live bomb with a burning fuse, isn’t it? He has had been such from his childhood, is not an empty bomb with an unlighted fuse.” He continued and added to this, “the “combine” is no fools. They can well handle the situation from A to Z. The combine knows these fundamental rules; (a) the public memory is proverbially short (b) the public will come to believe in anything which will be constantly and repeatedly propagated to them over a long period (c) ordinarily the public is incapable of remaining - in a highpitch for a long time (d) the public lose interest in anything which is long protracted. These are fundamental facts JN(the combine) is using these rules to his entire advantage. Bhagwanji continues in a light mood, “do you know what do I think when I look at all these things? I say in mind that, Bravo brother bravo. You people are great player. Now when you have continued the play for these many days then continue it for some more days. The spectator should get the full entertainment. Now the combine should call a meeting with all the party members and other parties – committee, society and public members. Do not forget to bring the angel and angel’s daughter from Europe – and then in that meeting Shaulamari’s Swamiji (son of a bramhin) should come out claiming himself as Netaji. Then it would be a happy ending. Netaji will be all yours, he will roam here and there – will give speech here and there for fight. May be he will take a high level job or a position. The type of Netaji Bengali does want they will get that type of Netaji. That much is left to complete the show. Bhagwanji continued and explained why Shaulamari angle was required. He said, “…once the Netaji comes out from Shaulamari, then it would have been better from one aspect. But that has not been happened yet – that is the matter of concern. I have expected that will happen - but that has not happened yet, that is a matter of concern. I have expected Swamiji of Shaulamari will come out as Netaji in some huge meeting, in such meetings nobody discuss any logic. You will think Netaji has arrived, everything will be settled down now, but it is not like that. If this happens, the combine will be free from one side, they will then concentrate on the other side. This is called as parallel bluff. The combine will hope since Netaji has come back then the other party will become carefree to some extent and they will be less cautious and that will give the hint to combine. Then they can remove the ghost from their shoulder. That is why your dead man carries something within him, is fully sufficient to bring eternal sleep within 6 seconds…that something cannot be activated accidentally… no one of the combine can ever expect to get him alive.”
