Directly after Sauls conversion to Paul in Acts 9, he was nearly assassinated by a group of angry Jews, but fellow Christians rallied around him and helped him escape the danger. I see in this story a lesson in Christian community united to help someone in danger and need, but also the spiritual truth that a person is likely to be attacked directly after theyve come to know Christ. We should rally around newcomers with prayers of protection and plans of nurturing their new faith.
