Director - Social Change Assistance Trust - Cape Town The Social Change Assistance Trust (SCAT) is an indigenous donor-making and development agency. SCAT is looking for a Director to assume all business and programme related aspects of its operations. Location: Cape Town, Western Cape Job Specifications and Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification in Humanities, with Development studies as an added advantage; Appropriate professional experience in a management position, preferably within the donor-making and social development environment; Resource Development and mobilisation skills for development agencies in rural centres; Strong programme, financial, fundraising and human capital management skills; Ability to manage and lead a team of approximately 15 people with vision, motivation and responsibility to excel; Strong planning and budgeting skills; Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills and networking with internal and external stakeholders (national and international); Ability to represent the organisation and interacting with the stakeholders and community; A good understanding of building organisations in rural settings and people development sector; An ability to manage multiple priorities and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also a requirement; Ability to travel.
