Director, Specialized Foster Program, Full Time. This position will provide administration for the Specialized Foster Care program and direct service to foster parents and foster children. Responsibilities will include recruiting, training and supervision of foster parents, supervising staff, and direct service to clients. Requires knowledge of foster care and other children’s services, experience working with children, ability to work effectively with foster parents, children and colleagues, ability to maintain statistical data and prepare accurate reports. Interpersonal skills are very important. Experience should include direct service to children. A master’s degree in some human service field is preferred. This position requires a valid driver’s license and a safe vehicle. This position requires field work and a flexible work schedule.
