Director of Data Management Platform (DMP) Location: Herzlia, Israel Department: R&D In this role, you will get the opportunity to turn data into revenue. You will lead Company’s Data Management Platform (DMP) technology and delivery interacting with technology and business owners. The ideal candidate is a seasoned technology manager who has led engineering teams in the areas of large-scale data processing. He/she is someone with knowledge, experience and passion for building high volume, scalable data services and running them in the real world. He/She should be abreast of the latest technology developments and push his teams to innovate. He/she must have strong leadership qualities, and a track record of delivering great solutions. In this position you will: Lead the DMP technical team and activities: Big Data technologies, NoSQL technologies Relational databases and BI. Design and build scalable infrastructure and platform to collect and process very large amounts of data (structured and unstructured). Manage the execution of high quality software solutions against product and project plans and according to strict delivery and quality standards. Build and maintain inter team relationships on your team’s behalf. Manage departmental resources: hiring, mentoring, career management and maintaining a high performing team. Develop the long-term strategy for Company Data Management Platform and translate that into an achievable road map. Job requirements: MSc in Computer Science or equivalent. 10+ years of software development experience Experience building large scale distributed data processing systems/applications or large-scale Internet systems involving both Relational and Big-data technologies. Proficiency with Map/Reduce, Hadoop, NoSQL technologies 5+ years of experience managing team of software engineers including identifying, hiring and developing top talent Self-directed with strong project management skills and ability to lead initiatives and teams toward common goals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience in Data Mining, Statistics, or Machine Learning is an advantage Excellent verbal and written communication skills
