Director of Human Resources Buffalo, NY We are avidly seeking a Director of Human Resources to oversee all aspects of our Human Resources department. Responsibilities Include: One will be responsible for advising supervisory staff on personnel management issues and ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Candidates must be knowledgeable on the Affordable Care Act, laws associated with FMLA and ADA, and have a comprehensive understanding of Health Care Reform. Other duties will include, but are not limited to, formulating and recommending Human Resources policies and objectives with regard to employee relations, managing employee data and issues assuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and Erie County, Federal and State policies in all personnel areas, and providing consultation to agency managerial and supervisory staff on issues relating to interpretation of agency policies, labor standards, management practices and employee relations issues. Experience Required: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, 4 years of relevant experience, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience or a Masters Degree, 2 years of relevant experience, and 2 years of supervisory experience.
