Disappointed when returning to Ridgeway in 1993 and finding the R.R. Station and tracks missing, the heart of the village I once knew was gone and it hurt, but at least it had not been destroyed. Arrived at the Ft. Erie R.R. Museum just after it closed for the day intent upon photographing the station from many positions, but had to be satisfied with a few pictures taken from outside of the fenced enclosure. Shortly after returning home I decided to make a model and used the pictures, studying them closely and guesstimating measurements, angles etc., while drawing 1/4-ft. plans. Project was completed in four months. Recently my family safely delivered it to the Ft. Erie Museum at Ridgeway and enroute visited the R.R. Museum at Ft. Erie and snapped the first two photos.
