Disappointed with exhibit at Japanese Sword Museum. Ive walked by it before, so I knew the building was small. Exhibit turned out to be nothing more than a small collection of winners in a contemporary sword contest; most without hilts nor scabbards. The museum should at least play a video showing forging/folding/tempering process. Itd also be nice to see the different craftsman involved in creating a finished product. Maybe have a gallery devoted to armor as well? Id come back for another visit if they had an exhibit on samurai blade fighting techniques or the battle strategy for sword fights. But only having a dozen contemporary swords behind glass is boring and uninformative.
