Disappointments~now theres a mighty word to swallow. We have been disappointed sometime in our life, but we get through them. However, has a friend/family member disappointed you? Thats harder to swallow especially when he/she is a good friend or a close relative. What does the Lord say about disappointment in His word? (2 Corinthians 5:17) says, Therefore if any person is ingrafted in Christ, he is a new creature; the old has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! The newness in Christ in your life lifts you out of the disappointment mode because we know that we keep our faith in Him. Our old self may feel very rejected and remorse. We may even want to cry. Be the Lord reassures us through prayer that disappointments in our lives do eventually pass away because the Lord always has something new for us! Isnt that wonderful? The Lord knows what we need better than we do! Really! Prayer: Dear Lord, we know that we receive disappointments in our lives. People will disappoint us, but you always know what is best for us. Help us realize that what we always want doesnt always happen. Help us to keep our eyes on you and wait upon you Lord. In your mighty name Jesus, Amen
