Discipleship Series; 17 June, 2013 John 5:22, For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, (NKJV). The’ Judge’ is another of Christ’s attributes, which we are looking at today. Our text makes it clear that Jesus Christ is the Judge, not the Father. Unlike human judges who are limited to the perspective presented to them and restricted by yet a higher judge/judges, Jesus Christ as both God and Judge has a complete view and perspective of all that happened, happening and will ever happen making His judgment righteous, Isaiah 11:4, But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth. Jesus Christ will judge both the living and the dead based on His own standards and dictates; 2 Timothy 4:1, I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom. The type of judgment and sentence you will get from Christ Jesus is dependent on your response and attitudes to His instruction. It does not matter if you have been a victim on unrighteous judgments on earth, Christ will judge with equity and can reverse all those ‘wrong calls’; Psalm 98:9, Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity. In the life after, Chris Jesus will judge using the same standard that is based on His instructions. How many of God’s instructions through Christ Jesus have you flouted or totally ignored? Play safe while you still have time on earth. Prayer: Righteous Judge, reverse every wrong judgment passed against me today, and help me obey all your instructions, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Have a good and great Monday. God bless and be with you. Visit this link to see past articles; groups.yahoo/group/discipleshipseries/
