*Disclaimer* I am a police officer. I do my job to the best of my ability just as many others in this country and a lot of people that I befriended in this local area. We put on the uniform that a lot of people hate to see but that does not steer us away from being in the profession. People love to share the bad side of law enforcement and do not think twice about the good that police do. Read this post fully. If you are my friend and feel the need to share the negative side of law enforcement I will unfriend you. You have your opinions yes, as do I. Dont take it to heart when you see we are not friends anymore. I really dont care how close of a friend you are to me. You dont like police, so Ill take it as you dont like me. I have no room in my life for people like you- who are blinded to one sided things. My heart goes out to the two police officers who were murdered and their families during this difficult time. So disheartening knowing that they will not be spending Christmas with their families or showing their dedication by working every holiday to serve others. They paid the ultimate sacrifice, as I and other police officers would do.
