Disclaimer I am not fully converting and will not be making sumo stance deadlifts my primary stance. I will and still utilize conventional stance deadlifts as my go to. With that and looking back at my powerlifting experience one thing I did lack was true hip strength. With all that looking to further establish and develop my physique BUT still build a strong and powerful foundation these are an absolute key. Focused more as a accessory lift vs. a primary lift I am easing my way into these. In past when I experimented and had issues with my quad tendon. Last week I utilized 6 sets of 10 reps with 185 lbs following 6 sets of 6 reps of conventional deadlifts with 315.
