Discovered this whole little network of movie trivia but Ill always love the way Parnassians was completed after Heath ledger died. Terry Gilliam is a master anyway but I hadnt realised hed made a point of only hiring actors that personally knew Heath to play the missing scenes Heath could no longer film after dying and that all three actors gave their entire earnings from the film to ledgers daughter. It sort if makes sense that they would when you think about it but its still really touching but theres always been something so ernest and uncorrupted about Gillians films. Still cant wait to see zero theorem. HL rest in peace though. Parnassians was like his final curtain call encore after the standing ovation of the dark knight joker performance.
