Discovery Center Awarded Walmart Foundation Grant The North Lakeland Discovery Center was recently awarded a $400 grant from the Walmart Foundation. The organization was selected to receive the grant through the Local Facility Giving Program to help support their many environmental education opportunities in local schools. Staff would like to thank the Walmart Foundation for their generosity, and supporting the Discovery Centers mission to enrich lives and inspire an ethic of care for Wisconsins Northwoods, through the facilitation of connections among nature, people and community.
