Discussed topics with some of the delegations in Geneva • Challenges that the Arab Spring are facing and mainly in Tunisia, where it all started • In Tunisia we have a very strong civil society and Tunisian people would stick to democracy because they know what dictatorship means • Highlighted the maturity of the Tunisian people and the defense of the revolution and the democratic institutions as the population ignored the invitations to chaos • We lost a lot of time during the last months but in the same time we are keeping the dialogue between all concerned parties • There are efforts made in achieving security and stability and the fight against terrorism but we still need efforts to boost the economy and maintain social peace and public security • The Assembly is working to complete the process of democratic transition and the elected institutions but some don’t want to see the Arab spring success story • In Tunisia we have got freedom of expression but we may need to set some limits/borders in order to respect personal life • Tunisia has managed to escape the political showdown between government and military that has so plagued Egypt • We still need to better communicate with our people as after a revolution, the level of expectation is high and the corruption of old regimes affected all areas and mainly media and justice • Tunisia is working closely with Libya and Algeria to help control its borders and better fight the terrorists ./ .
