Discussion: I was out with Maci recently in Tulsa, just the two of us. We ran some errands and eventually stopped at McDonalds for some water and fries, and to let her play on the toys! I took her leash with us. I use that term loosely. Its a small stuffed monkey, that she wears like a back pack. It has a cord that I can hold on to. I had a woman make a rather rude comment to me wile we were in McDonalds, something about how she would never do that to her child. I was so caught off guard, it never occurred to me that it might actually offend someone. After all, Maci doesnt mind. She calls it her monkey on the back. It gives her the freedom to not have to be held, and she gets to feel big. Oh, and its nice that Im not constantly chasing her, she doesnt wander away from me. So Im curious, what are your thoughts on the issue? No judgment, Im just curious. Am I alone in my leash love?
