Discussion for my artist, engineer, history friends or anyone else who would care to comment. I have always been a big admirer of Da Vinci for several reasons. Most importantly because of his ability and impact on so many different disciplines. The definitive Renascence man. I recently watched a documentary suggesting that he may not have invented all of the things to which he is credited. They implied that he merely borrowed his mentors, or others, ideas and made them better. (Important clarification I am glad they made) I m fairly sure we can all admit that this has happened time and time again through history, and not just by him, and that this is how things evolve but does this change your view point of him?
