Disgraceful. The number one source of scholarships for women is a contest that grades women on how good they look in a bathing suit as long as they are PURE, meaning no children and never married. Unsurprisingly, most of these women dont even take advantage of the scholarship, because they are trying to build a career on their body and physique, which is FINE if that is what they want to do. However, beauty is not the path to a successful career in things that require intelligence and schooling, and should not be a determining factor in whether or not you get a scholarship. Not to mention they are claiming numbers falsely, but they are sadly even STILL able to hold that title if the math is done right. This all done so they can legally claim as a non-profit. While I think there is a time and place to value beauty, clearly, this should really not be the number one source for women to get scholarships to college.
