Disgusting. I just heard a Senator say he was keeping his salary because he was working during the shutdown and people who work get paid. What a self important jerk. Not only did the people who didnt work want to work and his irresponsible behavior as an elected official prevented this, but NOT all people who worked got paid. like the policemen who protected him and assorted DoD employees. How amazingly out of touch these people are with the people they are to serve.
