Disney movie facts: 1. If youve ever stumbled across the A113 number plate in toy story you probably think it is just nothing, oh boy how wrong are you. It is actually the number of the classroom at the art school where many of the animators at Pixar and Disney attended! Its there in every Pixar movie ever made!! 2. If you look closely at the fishing scene In brother bear you will see a fish similar to that of a lost fish called Nemo. 3. In the lady and the tramp the song the dogs are whistling is home sweet home, the only song not written by Peggy Lee and Sonny Burke. 4. Clayton is the first Disney villain to die by hanging. Originally, the Disney animators set the climactic fight of the film on the freighter ship, with Tarzan sending Clayton to his doom via a river boat explosion. But when animation began on the sequence, the animators discovered that Tarzan had “lost his edge” on the freighter ship (as seen in the scene were Tarzan tries to escape from Clayton’s henchmen on the ship). The animators moved the final fight with Clayton back to the jungle, where Tarzan’s character had the advantage. 5. 111,700 strands of very curly hair were created in the movie Brave for Merida alone. 6. During the scene where Mulan begins getting ready for her meeting with the matchmaker, right after she is thrown in the bath, some of the bubbles form Hidden Mickeys. 7. Dumbo is the only Disney animated movie where the title character does not talk. 8. Steve Martin used to work at Disneyland in the 1960s as a balloon animal crafter in the Magic Shop. 9. In Enchanted, in the scene where Edward is on top of the bus, the people riding on tour buses next to him laughing and pointing at him weren’t extras, but actual real tourists. 10. In Disney’s Tangled, Rapunzel’s golden hair is over 70 feet long and is made up of more than 100,000 strands.
