Disposable Income being squeezed further by petrol increase! Todays petrol price increase announcement is going to squeeze the budgets of struggling households and individuals even more. When we add e-tolls, the recent interest rate hike, food and utility hikes it looks like we are in for a tough 2014! This calls for a serious review of our budgets to cut down on all non essential items. This should be a family exercise where everyone becomes conscious of what needs to be done to cut costs. Keep a journal and record all your expenses to track where your money is going daily. This will help you to monitor and adjust. If you are struggling seek help early!
