Dissimilation(Taqayyah) a brief detail:- shaikh ansari(r.a.) in his Risala taqayyah writesDissimilation(taqayyah) is protecting oneself or other muslim brothers from harm that can be inflicted by others by agreeing with them about a word or a deed..Dissimilation is divided into 5 kinds. 1.Obligatory:-when a harm should be compulsorily removed 2.Unlawful:-It is when there is bloodshed then it is not dissimulation 3.Recommended:- when there is no definite loss or harm but there is likelihood of such harm in future 4.Detestable:-it is in the matter of recomended acts without any fear of harm at present or future. 5.Permissible:-Where ever we need Dissimilation is not allowed for a prophet or imam be it for protecting self or the community from harm becoz prophets and imams are guides for society so they cant put society in doubt but if there are very serious dangers then dissimilation is permissible for them also.....
