District Court Judge James A. McGlynn: District 2B Judge McGlynn, Webster City, was appointed to the district court bench in November 2012. He served as an Associate Juvenile Court Judge from September 1999 until his appointment as a District Court Judge. Judge McGlynn earned his undergraduate degree from Drake University in 1972. He graduated from Creighton University School of Law in 1975. Before his appointment Judge McGlynn was in private practice and served several positions including Assistant Kossuth County Attorney, Judicial Magistrate for Kossuth County. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the Hamilton County Bar Association.
