Lagos State has been removing beggars and destitute from its street, including the total demolition of a whole community at Maroko, to give way to what Fashola calls Cleaning up Lagos aka "Eko onibaje". When this started over two years ago and the bulk of those removed were from the North, nobody talked about civil war, now that the pendulum has tilted to some other parts of the country we are now hearing of rights and cry for war. So Lagos could do it to the Gambaris but not to the man from Osun, Kwale or Obigbo because the Gambaris are half humans?
