And in breaking news from illulissat, Greenland….. we awake this morning to 14Km of ice pack stopping us from getting in and must wait for the fog to lift, see pic. And now back to regular programming…. Wednesday marked day 35 of our adventures….. Arrived in Paamiut, only to discover the on shore landing location was not safe, with the sad decision made to abandon the day’s visit. Set sail for Ilulissat, some 2 days sail. Yesterday was a quiet sea day, attended various lectures on what we could expect in the area and where to see things in this World Heritage listed area. Oh well, at least we are up high at 69° 14’ N. Oh and we did see some whales , nice :) :) We also crossed the Arctic Circle, 66° 33’ 44” N , Woo Hoo !!
