Divine Guidance 009: God Has Faith In You October 9th 2014 I John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. Every solid relationship in life is one built on mutual love. The best relationship one can ever have is with God. When you understand God, your relationship with Him becomes sweet and pleasurable to you. The good thing about mans relationship with God is that He is faithful to His commitment for with Him there is no variation or shadow of turning, amen. He has faith in you and trusts you when no one does. The Bible says, Perfect love casts out fear. God is moved by unconditional love toward you and you ought to do the same because that love is in you, for the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us (Romans 5:5). Love is a mutual thing. He has no fear about you. You might be suffering from rejection and abandonment from dear ones like family members, colleagues and some negative church folk. Now you are finding it difficult to believe in Gods verdict for your life. There was a man called Gideon who had experienced failures and trouble all his life, but one faithful day God visited him and said, The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valour (Judges 6:12). Gideons first reaction was to bring out his CV before God with all the bad experiences, diplomas in failure, hobbies in fear and cowardice, but God wasnt moved by that. Finally, Gods word produced faith in him and he became that mighty man of valour. Before he died, Midian was subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted their heads no more. And the country was quiet for forty years in the days of Gideon(Judges 8:28). I come with good news for you; God approves you, He has confidence in you and He trusts you. He is so mindful of you. See, in the Old Covenant He was just a guest to folks, yet we see a transformation in Gideon’s life after one Divine visit. Oh hear me my dear friend: in the New Covenant, you are highly favoured. He has decided to be your life partner; He has made you second in command after Him in the entire universe; He has crowned you with glory and honour; He has made you to have dominion over the works of His hands. He has put all things under your feet. God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did, has said it and that settles it (Romans 4:17). He means every word He whispers to you. God is not casual in His dealing with man. Everything God has done and keeps on doing for us is because of Jesus. The faith He has in you emanates from the faith He has in the blood of Jesus to make things right. The blood of bulls and goats in the Old Covenant failed to get the job done. God is a God of faith. He fully trusted in the blood of Jesus. That is the intersection of our relationship with God. That intersection breeds mutual trust, faith, and love and produces a fountain of joy for greatness. Beloved, change your thinking on the way God sees you. Know that He has faith in you. The word of God has come to you now, it has launched faith in you like a wild missile and you will never be same again. Praise the Lord! Confess this to your hearing: My God, You are just wonderful. Thank you for trusting and believing in me. Waoh! I can make it. Yes! I wont let anybody mess me up again. I am more than a conqueror, moving from victory to victory. My God loves me. Glory to God.
