Divine Guidance Revealed in Your Astrology Chart By Maria Shaw Lawson The vertex is in your chart that has to do with fateful encounters with others, aha moments, major transitions in your life and fated, karmic destined types of situations. When your vertex is activated by transit, it can bring someone into your life that is extraordinary and destined to be a part of your life or at the very least, an amazing experience in your life. I want you to think of the vertex as fate and destiny; something you cannot control. Heres something else interesting. Most of you know that you have a rising sign or the ascendant, which is the way the world, sees you. I look at the vertex as our second rising sign so to speak, as it tells us how the world interprets this face. The vertex sign is what the world expects from us. If the vertex in our chart is of close degree to a personal planet or one of your nodes, you will have more fated experiences in your life than someone who does not. Do you ever feel like your life is divinely guided? Then it may be because of a strong vertex. A strongly placed natal vertex (conjunct the horizon, in close aspect to a personal planet or in the degree of the nodes) can indicate more amazing moments and divine interventions. The vertex placement in your chart can tell you who and what your special destiny is! And often you can predict specific times when a karmic relationship will enter your life or a special situation will happen What activates the Vertex? Transiting planets, people whom you meet out of the blue and the energy from places you visit or travel to. When you move or travel to a new city, you change energy and sometimes that energy opens up the vertex. Transits can bring significant encounters with someone special. A Mars conjunction would likely be a big one or perhaps Jupiter and especially Saturn. Meetings with significant people, that provide a feeling of fate or destiny about the encounter could be tied to the vertex activation. A persons chart can link up with another persons chart. When the two energies meet, the powerful energy is undeniable. Something in the contact of each persons planets may have the ability to create profound change.
