Divinity of Jesus? An Inquiry………. 1] ****God is immortal “Who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever.” (1 Timothy 6:16) “Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.” (Psalm 90:2) “But you remain the same, and your years will never end.” (Psalm 102:27) ****But Jesus died. Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”[a] When he had said this, he breathed his last. [Luke 23:46] But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. [John 19:33] With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last. [Mark 15:37] 2] ****God is All-knowing: Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. (Matthew 6:8) I am the LORD: that is my name; I will not give my glory to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things have happened, and now I declare new things; I tell you before they come up. (Isaiah 42:8-9) ****But Jesus was not wise: Asked Jesus when the last day he replied: But of that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. (Mark 11:13) 3]****God is Almighty: Bible shows God as God the Almighty: I am God Almighty ....(Genesis 17:1) ... God Almighty. (Exodus 6:3) ****Jesus was helpless. powerless: Jesus noted: I can do nothing on my own. (John 5:30) Then they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others slapped Him, saying: O Christ, prophesy! Who hit you? . (Matthew 26:67-68) And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. (Luke 22:43) Moreover, Jesus was not resurrected himself from the dead, but it was God who raised him, and I quote: This Jesus hath God raised up; and for this we are all witnesses (Acts 2:32). 4]****God does not get tired and not sleeping: Bible says: I do not know thou hast not heard? God is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth, do not try and weary, his understanding is unsearchable. (Isaiah 40:28) Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. (Psalm 121:4) ****Jesus was tired, but even if he slept: Bible says: And Jesus, tired from the journey, sat down by a queen. (John 4:6) And behold, there arose a storm at sea so great, the waves swept over the boat, but he was asleep. (Matthew 8:24) He was asleep in the stern while on a pillow. (Mark 4:38) 5] ****God cannot be seen: Clearly alludes Bible that God can not be seen and that nobody has seen, and said, You can not see my face: for there shall no man see me and live. (Exodus 33:20) And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness of me; you have not ever heard his voice nor seen his you ... . (John 5:37) No one has ever seen God .... (John 1:18) No one has ever seen God. (1 John 4:12) ****Jesus lived among people: People Saw Jesus courses and has remained among men, there were families, has been the messenger of God, etc.., where the Bible itself declares that: Do not Is this the carpenters son? Not his mother called Mary, and his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? . (Matthew 13:55) When the people saw the sign that Jesus did, said, Truly this is the Prophet who is to come into the world. (John 6:14) They said: Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all people.(Luke 24:19) And in 1 John 1:1 states that people saw Jesus and touched it 6] ****God is not man and not living on earth: Bible says: God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent. (Numbers 23:19) Indeed he is not a man like me, who can respond and come to a judgment.(Job 9:32) But will God really dwell on earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can not contain You, how much less this house that I have built. (1 Kings 8:27) ****Jesus was a man, the son of man and lived in Nazareth: Bible says: Truly this man was right!. (Luke 23:47) Son of man came eating and drinking .... (Matthew 11:19) But while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them: Son of man shall be betrayed into human hands. (Matthew 17:22) And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets: He will be called a Nazarene. (Matthew 2:23) They said: Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all people. (Luke 24:19) 7] ****Worship belongs to God: Bible says: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only. (Matthew 4:10) But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. (Matthew 6:6) ****Jesus worshipped the True God: Jesus has commanded to worship only God, because he has done such a thing, while he was praying, heaven was opened, But he withdrew to lonely places and prayed , Jesus was praying in solitude , and knelt down and prayed, went to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God (Luke 3:21 / 5:16 / 9:18 / 22:41 / 6:12), And he went a little farther, and fell on his face and prayed (Matthew 26:39) Also disciples asked Jesus how to pray, but he will tell you how to pray, not him, but God, which says: You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve him only. (Matthew 4:10) And he said: When you pray, say: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Gives us our daily bread needed. And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive our offenders, and let us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. (Luke 11:2,4) 8. ****God is not tempted by evil: Bible says: No one, when he is tempted, says: I am tempted by God, for God can not be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. (James 1:13) Satan tempted Jesus: Bible says: Then the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. (Matthew 4:1) And he was in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan. (Mark 1:13) There are also dozens Biblical quotations that cast aside divinity of Jesus. Indeed 2,000 years ago Jesus prophesied that people will worship me in vain and will believe in doctrines created by men and not by God: But in vain they worship me, teaching orders invented by men. (Matthew 15:9) also said:Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free men. (John 8:32)
