Divorce - one of the trends in these perilous times The Lord Jesus is coming on the day of the Rapture to take His bride to Himself, not to divorce her. As pressures from survival difficulties mount in these perilous times, one thing you must never consider as a solution, no matter how hard-pressed you are, is divorce - if you are a married man or woman. Do all in your power to resist opting for divorce as a solution to your challenges. And do all you can to resolve your differences. Try forgiveness. Without forgiving each other, you are not going to heaven. That ought to concern you. Then, try cutting out outsiders who influence your thoughts and attitudes toward your wife or your husband. Any advice that influences you to treat your wife or your husband without care or respect, but instead, it encourages you to treat him or her with meanness, stinginess and disregard, is the counsel of the ungodly. The man or woman who is blessed is the one who does not walk i.e. make use of the counsel of the ungodly (Psalm 1:1). Marriage is a godly thing put in place by God Almighty, the one you claim to be your heavenly Father. Anyone who helps you to disobey Him should be kept out of your life until he or she learns to see your marriage from Gods perspectives.
