Diyun General Administration organizes first ever inter-community picnic Diyun Jan 18: A first ever inter-community general picnic of Diyun Circle was organized by Diyun Administration on Jan 17 at Miao Ghat with an objective to promote communal harmony, and integrity in Diyun Circle. The Picnic was attended by more than 7000 people from all the communities of Diyun including Khampti, Singpho, Chakma, Hajong, Deori, Ahom, Nepalis and Bazar non-tribals. The administrative heads and HoDs of various departments from Diyun, Bordumsa and Miao also invited in picnic. Mr. Nikh Kamin, the incumbent MLA also was the special invitee of the picnic. The scenic beauty of Miao Ghat is breathtaking and has immense potential to be a favourite tourist destination if developed properly by the government of Arunachal which will generate employment to the thousands in the area.
