♫Dj Carmie Speaks! I listen to 100s of tracks all week long. Most of the artist I listen to are cool. Im still waiting on that one artist to send chills up the back of my neck, make my toes curl up, make me drop my chipotle, make my ponytail stand up. This is how I felt when i went to see my first Luther Vandross concert. This is how I felt when I saw Michael Jackson do the moonwalk for the first time on Motown 25. This is how i felt everytime I saw Patti Labelle sing live. This is how I felt when i first heard Whitney Houston sing I will always love you. This is how i felt when I heard Fantasia sing Summertime on American Idol. This is how i felt when I heard Paul Potts and Susan Boyle rip Britians got talent apart. This is how I felt on all of Janet Jacksons live performances. Its how i felt when I saw Rachelle Ferrel perform live with her piano for the first time. What has happened? I KNOW WE HAVE SOME ARTISTS OUT THERE HOLDING BACK THE TALENT. Artists, the Underground Indie Movement has began. We are looking and we are searching for that Diamond. We do not have to count on Mainstream to choose what they think we should like( Throwing the Nickis,the Lil Waynes, the dudes with dresses on, and The Drakes at you). We need you to shine.
