Dj and John jr had area games today for softball with the special olympics, this is only their second year of playing so they are still learning. I hate to say it, but I am not a happy camper with the way the umpires handled the games or the coaches. the final straw was when the girl for the other team moved up to about ten feet away from the plate and was pitching, the umpire let her move up, the problem is that it being the first time Jr has played he got freaked out because he thought the girl was going to hit him, the umpire and our coach did nothing but to help. when I questioned both the coach and umpire they just looked at me like I was an idiot. I thought special olympics was supposed to be about fair play, but I guess I was wrong
