I have not read the ruling but the court may have come to this odd conclusion on the basis that Christians divide God into three; The father, the son and the Holy Ghost (the doctrine of the trinity) which is anathema to Muslims and defeats or worse, is repellent to the idea of Allah being The One. Christians throughout the Arab and Iranian worlds, like the millions of Christians in Indonesia, have always used the Arabic word for God. This is natural as the word means The One, referring to the one God in which both Muslims and Christians believe. Interestingly these Christian doctrinal issues were raised in the Da Vinci Code without anyone understanding the real controversy -
