Do NOT buy from Johnnie Byrd I purchased a 2jz swap from mr byd on - TopicsExpress

Do NOT buy from Johnnie Byrd I purchased a 2jz swap from mr byd on aug 10 it took him some time to get the parts sent out which was understandable on 29th of aug I received my motor and trans from him. upon inspection of set, I noticed my QSV (quickspoolvalve) was not with the motor, and it wasnt with any of the parts he sent prior to. I notied mr bryd it was not there and he said to give him some time to look around and get it to me. on september 22nd I spoke with Mr bryd letting him know 2 injectors had to be bad as nothing is coming out of them. cylinders are dead and the miss follows the injectors. I had already changed spark plugs, checked voltage, check wiring and insured signal was good. I told him I was already headed out of time for a milittary class but I would do more test when I got home the next week. After returning I can the said test over and over and finally settled on the fact the injectors were shot. I also at that time happen to be talking with someone who had a Boostlab turbo and they told me my turbo I bought from mr byrd was not what he said it was. I pulled the filiter off and counted the blades up front and just as they had stated. the turbo was NOT a boost lab turbo. I notified mr bryd about this and he then told me he never looked at this turbo to know it wasnt a boost lab turbo.... Now at this point is where the lies start. I give him the benifit of the doubt and ask again about my qsv. He stated he couldnt find it. I said you need to refund me for the cost of these parts and the two injectors that dont work. He instited the injectors were fine. SO i took them to a local shop and have them flow tested and clean. Just as I had said the injectors were not firing even after 1.5 hours worth of ultra sonic cleaning. The shopt spent another 1 hour to finally get the injectors to fire. I notified mr bryd we were able to get them to fire finally. I put them back in the car and it started up on all 6. When I took the car out it sputtered above 4k really bad. I assumed I had the wrong gap on the plugs so I corrected it. And gave it another try. there was no change, and now the car was starting to sputer even at idle and my afr was lean, even with throttle. I pulled the injectors again and this got them flow tested looking at the cc rating not just spray pattern. This round I took a video from the start of the test and 1-3 were below spec, 4 was barely flowing, 5 was below spec and 6 was the only one flowing at 1200cc as it should. I again notified mr bryd and this is where the stories started to really not added up. WHen I bought the setup from him he stated he had not driven the car since he sold his aem ecu, becuase he was going proefi. That was about 2 months time frame. Well that made since but when I called him this time he said the car only sat for a month becuase he drove it on a haltech after he sold the aem... Thats odd becuase haltech is not plug an play for the supra harness. and he had already sold his haltech years ago. I told him I wanted a refund for these injectors as I needed to by a new set as there were not in spec at all... He said he would have to make calls to make sur what I said was possible even though I wsa at a shop with a flow test and it was documented that e85 is know to fry out non e85 injectors. He said he would call the next day at 5pm. The next day he instead sent me 25 textmessages and refused my phone call saying he would not refund me the money for the injectors only the 60 I spent getting them cleaned the first time. This was stil during the time frame I was already waiting to be refuned for the cost of the turbo upgrade, and the qsv he never sent. I sent mr bryd 9k when I bought these parts yet less then amonth later he claimed to be broke and negative in his accounts and would not be able to pay me back until the 17th of oct. This put me out side of my paypal protection date. Ive now paying out of pocket to replace parts I bought that were not as there were decribded. SOrry for the long story.... BEWARE
