Do NOT order any printing from a company called - TopicsExpress

Do NOT order any printing from a company called cheapestprintonline. I only ordered because they could offer fast delivery, not even so much the price. But my crap broadband wouldnt allow me to upload the pdf and they also wanted it uploaded in separate pages, which my print ready file was not. So I emailed asked them to ring me, as I couldnt get an answer from their company before I had to begin the teacher training at 10am. I needed to let them know that the file would be uploaded from my webmaster but also needed an exaxt delivery date. No call, just an email at lunchtime telling me the upload hadnt been successful. I emailed again as still no reply to the phone not even a voicemail facility. I had to go back to teach for the afternoon, but when I got back in that night, I had just another email from them saying they still hadnt got the file! MY email at lunchtime said : I have tried repeatedly to ring you this morning but no reply. I am now teaching all day but will have my mobile phone with me so please ring me asap on 0xxxx xxxxx. I also need to know how quick express delivery is as I am desperate to get the leaflets here asap and will pay extra if needed. I have a big event next weekend to attend at short notice hence the urgency. So if I either need to pay extra to have next day delivery to be sure or can have our own couriers pick them up, please let me know asap too. I need to give you another number as my webmaster Nicki Elliot will send you the file instead of trying to do it from here. Her number is xxxxxxx Can you be any clearer than that? I had to get another company in the meantime to get the leaflets done as I need them for the Equine Fair next weekend. So I get an email from cheapestprintonline this morning Im sorry but as per our terms and conditions you agreed to at time of your order you cannot cancel your order. This is due to the nature of our business being a bespoke/ personalised print manufacturer. A print slot is actually allocated for you as soon as you place your order (similar to that of an airline when you book a seat, whether you turn up for that flight or not you still have to pay for that slot/seat even if you don’t use it) I understand this must be frustrating but we are exempt from the distance selling act being a bespoke manufacturer and do not have to offer a cancelation policy by law. Obviously if you cancel the order and we don’t deliver anything we will refund the £8.99 + vat delivery charge but there will be no refund on the print cost as we would have to continue to print your order or leave a blank space on the sheet that your order has been allocated a slot. Now had this been my fault and I hadnt repeatedly tried to contact them, I would accept the consequences, but despite my requests for help, they just ignored me. I do not know the legalities of this but I would never, ever use this company again. They do not deserve your business. The new company this morning acted quickly, answered the phone immediately and put me through to the relevant department and advised me to just email the pdf and they would do all that was needed and the order would be here by tomorrow afternoon. SO thank you solopress!!
