Do Not Imagine better Alternatives If you want to protect your marriage and the lovely children that God have given you, then try as much as possible to ignore alternative to your husband. The reason is that, the devil will not come as an ugly spirit of your imaginations, very horrible to look at. Rather it will come peaceably as better alternative to your husband. Even the word of God strongly instruct every married man or woman, saying “drink water from your own cistern”, and “let the breasts of your wife satisfy you”. (prov. 5:15, 19) The devil always invents the need for a man or woman to seek dangerous satisfaction that will destroy any family. The errant spouse will get one satisfaction he or she is seeking after somewhere, and at the same time, he or she will get guilt and dissatisfaction just at the same moment. Now, can you really call that satisfaction or rather ‘the deception of vain imagination’? The scripture demands that you should flee from wrong expectations, do not court trouble or look for alternative to your husband when you are still married to him.
