Do Not Walk Arrogantly “Do not strut arrogantly about the earth: Indeed, you will never tear the earth [apart], and you will never reach the mountains in height.” Surah Isra, Verse 37 With this verse, Allah wants to point to us about how feeble we are. We aren’t the biggest thing on the Earth, nor the strongest. So why do we sometimes look down on people? We have no right to think of ourselves so highly. Even if you see some people who aren’t as practicing in deen as you, you can’t think of yourself as someone better because, had Allah wanted to, He could have left you in the darkness but no, He guided you, so be thankful. At the end of the day, no matter how many accomplishments you make, you would not have even accomplished a single one, if it wasn’t for Allah.
