Do Read It Guys.. #1529 There are countless times we all have lied to the poors that we do not have money to give, but then stood by a cigarette stall and smoked our worries away, or simply buy a hamburger and a drink just because we thought itd be too late until we get back home. Sounds too fair, eh? :/ What about those without homes? o.O Where will they go? Why do we not care? Well, why would we? We are so indulged in enjoying the luxuries we are blessed with that we have actually forgotten that there are people on every road, every traffic signal and every footpath, who are rebuked when they only hope the passers by would help them buy their humble night meals that could be enough to keep them alive until the rays of the morning sun would hit their eyes to wake them up. But they end up being the owners of nothing but mere a growling tummy, swallowing dust by the road side. Pfft! :( :/ Now even the cold days have come. :( How many times did we not turn our room heaters on when even the velvet blankets wrapping us up and the spongy matresses we lie upon couldnt do enough to keep us away from the cold? But what about the homeless people who try to fight it with just a peice of cloth that doesnt fully cover their bodies and compress themselves to completely fit in it? O.o Moreover, the cold isnt the same outside. It is a hundred times brutal and heinous than that we feel lying on the cozy beds in our rooms surrounded by thick walls and window panes. :( There certainly are many of us who wait for opportunities to help the needy ones. But most of the times, we happen to let go of the opportunities obliviously. Perhaps, because the opportunities that we seek are not observable. But no more. Now is the time you all could do your part in advancing a helping hand towards the poor. Do not forget! If you were never involved before, its never too late to start. :) We at SOUL, are going to distribute blankets to the homeless people all around the city. The event shall start at 9.30 p.m on Friday, i.e. on 12-12-2014. We only have 2 more days to go. Let us all contribute to make it as many blankets as we can. Let us eradicate the cold and discomfort from the lives of the poors and fill it with warmth. :) It could be any amount. Just do not hesitate. Even a rupee is worth. :) Your little donations can add warmth to the lives of people. What if we were walking in their shoes? O.o :( Realise their pain. What if it was yours? How would you eradicate it while you could? You have to do the same now.
