Do You Know Why Islam Prohibits The Drinking Of Blood? Allah has only banned upon carrion, blood and pork and the meat (meat) animals which are slaughtered by (name) other than God. But if one is forced to (eat it) not because the want it and not (also) exceeds the limit, then there is no sin on him. Truly, Allâh Is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (QS. Al-Baqarah . 173) The wisdom behind the prohibition of God consume blood has emerged during the 20th century. With the flow of blood carrying oxygen, hormones, vitamins and substances such as proteins, sugars and fats, all of adiserap during the digestive process to the cells, the blood flow needed to maintain life. And if it is taken from a sick animal, various parasites and germs will also rub off on them. In that regard, the germs can proliferate and spread throughout the body. So, will pose a real danger. If a person consumes the blood, all the germs and waste products in it can spread throughout the body and cause diseases such as renal insufficiency or a coma at heart. In addition, the majority of microbes carried in the blood can cause other diseases by destroying the stomach and intestines. Whats more, the blood is not a sterile environment, in other words is ideal for germs to grow because the microbes have great opportunities to nourish the blood, it is an ideal environment for them. When in equilibrium with the liquid of other functions in the body and the immune system, blood does not support micro-organisms, because it is a disease. In a healthy individual, micro-organisms lived by making use of each other in the body. When there is a section that is compromised, or damaged internal balance, they can be turned into the micro-organisms that cause disease. For example, when the blood pH level (the acid and alkaline balance) unbalanced due to poor nutrition or harmful chemicals, microbes harmless can be dangerous and cause disease. If the body is healthy, blood pH level will be around 7.3. Even a small variation in the levels that may cause a balance that will be distracted and causing micro-organisms became more dangerous in order to adapt to their environment. A sterile blood can be compared to the milk almost stale when left outdoors.
