Do You Recognize This Vehicle? (Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the FPD’s Homicide Squad are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle in connection with the shooting death of Tyrone Shepard that occurred on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. In surveillance images obtained by detectives today, a 4-door vehicle is depicted driving along Callahan Circle before the tragic attempted robbery and shooting death of Shepard. Detectives are also seeking information concerning a baseball hat that was located at the scene and may have been worn by one of the suspects. The baseball cap depicted in the attached photograph contains unique lettering, spelling out the word “dope” across the front of the hat. If you recognize the vehicle depicted in the surveillance images or have information surrounding the person who was wearing the hat on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, please contact Detective J.
