Do a Proper Gym Warm Up!! Warm ups are often seen as being a boring process we should go through before starting our strength exercises in order to reduce injury risk. It doesnt have to be like that! Instead, lets view our warm up as a time we can use to activate essential muscles and improve our stability, control and range of motion. Try including low load exercises that challenge balance and control, heres a cracking example; 1 Leg 1 Arm Row -Using a power band on a low attachment -Stand on one leg and use the opposite arm to row the band into the bottom of your ribcage -Return to start position and repeat. 8 consecutive reps each side without falling over is a good achievement! Dont just sit on the reclining bike and play on your phone, get on your feet and do something useful to warm up!! #functionalwarmup #makeitcount #golffitness
